Welcome to Brandywine Wallace Elementary School. Our attendance area encompasses the northwestern portion of the Downingtown Area School District including all of Wallace Township and smaller portions in East Brandywine and Upper Uwchlan Townships. Brandywine Wallace is one of nine elementary schools in the Downingtown Area School District.  Built in 1960, it was constructed to consolidate a number of one-room schoolhouses located primarily in Hopewell, Lyndell, Gutheriesville, and Bondsville. A large addition was completed in 1981, which included 12 classrooms, a renovated library and a gymnasium.

Downingtown Area School District is in the process of approving a site for a new school building to be located in Glenmoore.  More information will be posted as the process continues.

Like all of the Downingtown Area Schools, we enjoy a proud tradition of excellence in education. Please look at the rest of our website to learn more about our school as well as our students and faculty.
